Marlene Hugill

Marlene Hugill passed away december 29 age 62, homemaker and best mum in the world,lived in
Thorntree Middlesbrough,loving Mother, Nanna, aunty, Sister and cousin. passed away in a deep sleep
with cancer .

My mum, how do you begin so talk about one of the most precious people in your life.Mum was a stay
at home mum always there when we came home from school, tea on the table, uniforms ready, bath run
on a sunday night. I used to hate it in always wanted to be out longer, I wish those days were here
again just to see you one more time mum and tell me, in now !. There were 5 kids at home so it was
mad at times but no one ever felt left out you made sure of that. I remember when you and dad used
to go out we all had to be in bed and Id sneak back down wait till I could here you cummin up the
path then run up the stairs and pretend to be asleep, Im sure you knew, well you do now . wasnt till
I started growing up a bit that I realised how much you mean to me, sharing my problems and thought
you would go mad but you never you listend and understood me. going through school was good and bad
but you made sure that there was a loving home and food on the table and a home was a home . the
one thing about growing up was knowing that the door was always open no matter what happend , you
made us feel safe .you were my rock and what an example to live up to, there is always a good woman
behind a great man and you were that mam.Mam was very popular had loads of friends and loved going
the caravan and the club loved a cuppa and a ciggy (horrible things)I used to moan at her all the
time pack those things in.we had our moments when I was older, but I knew no matter what I said
right or wrong she was always there . Mam I could go on forever and to all those people who read
this if you knew her then you know what I mean .
